ABOUT

Our Mission

Founded in 1983, the Golden Bears Hockey Alumni Association has four key objectives:

1.

To promote increased interest in the University of Alberta Golden Bear Hockey team, the Alumni Association and the University of Alberta in general;

2.

To provide financial assistance for those items of expenditure which are beyond the resources of the regular Golden Bear Hockey team budget;

3.

To provide mentorship, social events and communication channels for Alumni members, current players and potential recruits to the Golden Bears Hockey team.

4.

To act as an advocate for the Golden Bears Hockey program in all levels of business, government, university and sports organizations in Canada and abroad.
